We are conveniently located in the Peachtree community of Cherokee County in beautiful Western NC. Located amongst natural beauty, within the heart of the Smoky Mountains, we offer a quiet, friendly and peaceful 50 acre stay park with flexible stay durations available to suit your needs. Daily, weekly and even some monthly rates can be provided to accommodate your stay for your journey.

At Slow Creek, we provide a calm and cozy creekside living situation geared towards the over 50 crowd. We are a favorite destination for bikers and offer a super convenient location for those headed to the infamous Tale of the Dragon! —America’s number one motorcycle and sports car road.

We cater to motorhomes, 5th wheels and travel trailers including pop-ups and micro campers! We proudly offer 19 level, pull-through sites w concrete pads - fitting RV’s up to 40 feet. In addition, we are renovating a portion of our campground. Stay tuned for new lodging offerings coming summer 2024!

We are conveniently located 7 miles from Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino, 30 miles from Tail of the Dragon, 50 miles from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and 2 hours from Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga, TN and Asheville, NC.

Check out the natural beauty of our area including hiking, fishing holes, waterfalls, lakes, white water rafting, river walks and all the fall foliage that one can imagine. Spend your days visiting the local farms, antique shops, wineries, art galleries and even mini-golf. After a full day, return to the simplicity of Slow Creek RV Park and enjoy a nightcap under the stars.
